Membership

Benefits of Membership:

Continuing educational opportunities through conferences, sessions, and local chapter presentations.

 

Networking with other medical assistants in their local areas, across the state and sharing experiences and opportunities.  This can also be good tool when members are job searching.

 

Opportunities to develop leadership abilities in helping to manage the society.

 

Reduced cost for certification exam, recertification, conferences, and trainings in acquiring and maintaining professional credentials.  

 

 

 

 Student membership is available at a reduced rate in either a one or two-year rate.  Students must be enrolled in an accredited program through the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools.  

 

Membership is obtained through the American Association of Medical Assistants website and includes national, state, and local chapter membership.  Members who don’t have a local area chapter are included as members-at-large.
